What a dream of a day!! Brett and Courtney are a dream couple to work with. Besides the fact that they are super easy to photograph, it was their authenticity that was so refreshing. Courtney was so chill throughout the entire day. She trusted in her ladies, and they definitely had her back all day. She never worried about any one detail. Can we just say right here that THESE are the type of friends you want by your side on your wedding day. Oh, and it wasn't just the girls! The guys were perfect gentlemen. The wedding party wasn't small and yet there was not one single time that we were hunting down a member of the wedding party for a picture. They were the epitome of what it means to stand by the side of someone on their big day. It was so refreshing!!
We love doing a first look! Every bride will see all these amazing pictures and want to replicate them on their wedding day. Doing the first look gives more of that opportunity. Courtney was certain that The Grand Hall at Power & Light was the perfect place for the two to tie the knot. The rooftop of the venue provided a perfect spot to get that first view of all the months of preparation. And the groom did not disappoint. They are so beautiful together.
We hopped on the party bus and traveled around a few spots to capture some fun photos with the wedding party. The Country Club Plaza and a spot near the Nelson Art Gallery gave us the perfect backdrop to capture this beautiful group of friends.
Back to The Grand Hall to get the ceremony started. Such a perfect venue to showcase the elegant black and white theme. Having the balcony vantage point gave us a beautiful aerial view of a whole lotta love being shared. The ceremony was sweet and everyone in attendance were so excited to share in the love between these two.
During the cocktail hour we stole the couple back up to the rooftop for a few more pictures and then it was time for dinner and dancing. One of the highlights was the sweet dance that the couple shared with grandparents up on the screen. There was tons of dancing and fellowship and everyone had such a great time. The evening finished with a sparkler send-off and off they went to the after party.
Courtney found us doing an Instagram and Google search. We'd like to think it was fate and truly believe that we have a long photo relationship ahead of us! We wish you all the best as you start your forever together!
