James & Emily's Magical Day

"I would rather share one lifetime with you than face all the ages of this world alone."

--J. R. R. Tolkien

Right smack dab at the end of the summer, we got an amazing day, for these two lovebirds to say their I Do's! From the first time we met, James and Emily were so cute together. The engagement session was really fun with their dog. They were super chill and we had a great time getting to know one another. When we showed up at the wedding, Emily looked so beautiful and the light she emitted showed just how excited she was for the day. James, well, he was harder to find behind that beard!!! Which, by the way, he really pulled off!!

Simple Blessings Farm, in Knob Noster, Missouri, is really such a beautiful location for starting their forever. And they have several spots to capture that anticipated first look. The bride plans and plans to prepare to look her very best so when her groom sees her for the first time, he is blown away. Both Dad and James gave her the reactions she hoped for. Setting up a first look gives us such a great opportunity to take some special photos of the couple. And the weather, although warm, was perfect!!

" They're your support group, your A-team, your wedding day front line."

Choosing the people to stand up with you, as witnesses to the union of two souls isn't always easy, but the guys and gals that stood up with James and Emily were the perfect compliment to their personalities. They were always available when needed and we couldn't have asked for a better group. They were there for the bride and groom and it was evident from the beginning.

"When all the dust is settled and all the crowds are gone, the things that matter are

faith, family and friends."

"We'll live like best friends, make love like soul mates,

fight like enemies, stay together like family...

WILL YOU MARRY ME?"

Time for the ceremony!!!

Time to party! The reception had all the traditional moments, but the first dance with the parents was so sweet as the bride and her father danced the same time as the groom with his mother. Everyone had such a great time. When the sun went down, so many congregated out on the back patio and it was so nice to just see everyone enjoying a leisure evening together.

"I never met a sunset I didn't like."

Love that we got these sunset shots! This venue has some amazing places to capture the sun as it sets behind the horizon!!

Thanks for letting us be part of one of the most important days of your lives together. We hope to work together again soon!!
